Jeff’s FCRA experience focuses on both class action as well as single-plaintiff lawsuits. Jeff’s consumer rights law practice focuses on litigation under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including claims for credit reporting errors, employment background reports, tenant screening reports, and identity theft. He has also been named to Georgia Trend Magazine’s list of “Legal Elite”, and has been recognized by the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association for his excellence in trial practice as a recipient of the W. He has received this Super Lawyer recognition both in the areas of employment law and consumer law. Jeff has been named a Super Lawyer for eight consecutive years (2015-2022), a peer-nominated distinction given to less than 2.5% of the lawyers in Georgia. Since then, he has recovered millions of dollars for his clients through jury trials, arbitrations, and confidential settlements. In 2014 Jeff left “Big Law” to represent employees and consumers, rather than large corporations. He spent the first six years of his career as a defense lawyer at two of the country’s premier defense firms, where he defended Fortune 500 companies in class action and single plaintiff lawsuits.
